Poirot, Agatha Christie’s most distinctive and popular characters features in over 90 novels and short stories and is one of the most recognisable fictional detectives in literature, television and film.
The Belgian detective is by his own admission, “a genius, and the greatest detective in the world” Well known by his obsessive-compulsive idiosyncrasies, including his immaculately waxed moustache, bow ties, three-piece suits, patent leather shoes, and a requirement that each morning his 2 boiled eggs must be identically shaped and sized.
Infamously played by David Suchet in all 94 stories written for the small screen. I trust the detail is to his liking, and that the touch of uncharacteristic colour will infuriate him.
