New York Part 2: Central Park

In April New York began her slow climb from the depths of the bone-chilling winter into the salvation of spring.

With this comes some of the magnificent colours of nature, and in New York there is no better place to see this transformation than Central Park. In her labyrinthine ground there are many paths and walkways lined with cherry blossoms that for a few short weeks transform into a wonderland of pinks and laying a carpet over the slowly emerging foliage and the last vestiges of snow that remain as a linger reminder of the winter that has just been, and that will come again.
