The first time I heard of a place called “Iceland” I was about 5 years old and, having grown up in a drought stricken country location the idea of a land of ice was utterly magical. Since then I had always dreamed of going to Iceland and finally in October 2017 I journey with my middle daughter, Giselle, to Iceland to start this exhibition.
Giselle was 7 but for the entire time we were there I was 5 again, finally bringing to life one of my childhood dreams… on the roof of my apartment painting.
