Dave Flanagan, an iconic Australian comedians and actor in the 20th Century. He claims his career was born from a vision of the ‘father of Aussie comedy’ Roy Mo Rene appearing, telling Dave he must become a comedian. Alas their paths never met as Mo passed when Dave was just 4 years old. However Dave regularly spoke to his greatest wish to be performing a show alongside Mo. This piece creates that ‘perfect’ moment – joking with Mo in the street after performing in their sold out show.
Time and space stretch in different directions. Inanimate objects become “alive” in this significant moment: It is sunrise on Dave’s perfect day.
